Kydex keychain sheath for Ladybug?

#1

Post by Aimless »

Someone makes a kydex key chain sheath for a ladybug, would allow one to pop the knife off when having to go through metal detectors. I can't remember the name of the guy who makes them, I think he might be canadian.

Guess I was too lazy: http://nbtnoel.mnsi.net/products.htm On/scene microrigs. Links is busted though.

dont know who it is but you could also get one of those quick release key-chain=things. i have a clip hooked up to each of my edc's: a baby goddard (it used to be a ladybug a few weeks ago), my flashlight and my lil mini peanut lighter. just a thought

Since I have a couple of different keychains I did this so I have easy access to move it and use it plus it gives it a nice little extra lenght for a good grip.

I've found that the Ladybug comes off a keyring much easier than an ordinary key. I regularly switch it from my keys for my old car to the key chain for our newer car in a matter of seconds.

I could also probably put something together.

I don't know exactly what you are looking for, but I am pretty flexible.

my ladybugs ride on my keychain on big snap swivels for halibut fishing. 175 lb strength. pretty easy to release them... just unsnap the swivel... or just take it off the key ring, and attach to one of the retractors on my fly fishing vest, or fly fishing raincoat. :D
