A place to list and reference all Spyderco counterfeits, clones, and replicas that are found. Anything that isn't a legitimate Spyderco fits in this area.
- the TM designation is added to the image or text of trademarks during the process of their registration. And after the trademark has been officially registered and the Certificate of its registration has been issued, a publication has been made in the official bulletins about the registration of such a trademark, then the TM designation is replaced by ®.
This indicates that this knife is from the first releases when the DELICA trademark was in the process of state registration. And the booklet shown by you is from a later version, when TM DELICA was already registered.
Do you want to say that since 1990 registration in the USA has been dragging on since the first Delica-1 model and ended right in the 2020s? Is this a ussr or what? And if this delicac is "from the first", then why does it look like "from the last".
It's hard to think of a more pathetic excuse.
I'm in an eastern European country rn and there were several spydercos at a fleamarket going for $18 usd. S30v. If I go back I'll try and take some pics since they're definitely illegitimate.
No pictures since I haven't been back yet but I also went to an outdoors store that had maybe 30 to 40 fake spydercos. The attendant said yeah they're obviously fake and come from Taiwan or china (they're still branded golden Colorado). Also included pretty accurate copies of the boxes, unlike the flea market ones. definitely elaborate copies but working the mechanism you can tell it's a ripoff.
Recently bought these two Dragonfly 2 on Ebay, I paid close to MSRP for them but I'm worried they are both knockoffs. I've never owned a Spiderco and would like input to see if I got scammed.
Both grey and green handles with VG-10 blades versions don't exist. The grey was either V-Toku or initial Super Blue while the green was the ZDP-189. Also the hues seem off, but that could easily be just camera/screen combo

These are clones/fakes. I bought the same ones, but I paid $8 for them. The steel is theoretically 440c as listed where I got them but might be worse like 5cr13mov I think I read somewhere.
Had an original which I lost, but these are a more sensible price relative to what I'll use them for. But you should make some attempt to get your money back as unfortunately you've been scammed, you might get lucky with PayPal or similar.
I purchased from eBay what looked to be used Subvert, with aftermarket black G-10 scales. Upon arrival, I determined that this was a relatively high-quality fake. Fit and finish were excellent, action was smooth with tight lockup and no lock stick. Blade grind was off center. Returned for refund after taking a few pics of knife, box, and letter (for Military). Most knife pics auto-deleted before I found this forum.
