A couple of big US sales are coming up.

Black Friday ?

I want to make sure I'm set up to buy a could of knives.

Also, anybody going to the Factory outlet that can look out for a couple of things ?

Spyderco typically announces which models are discontinued by early Nov and dealers will have some of them at large discounts. Which ones are discounted ultimately depends on Spyderco's inventory levels.

I got my Shaman from Cabelas! Saweet!

The box came shrink wrapped? That is a first for me. Has anybody else received shrink wrapped Spydies from Cabelas?

Best place to get Used spyderco's ?

I'm on eBay and Bladeforums, anywhere elsedont worth looking for used Spydies.

They don't have to be 'safe queens', just not totally stuffed - ie Serrrated Edges totally worn.

I’ve seen used Spydies at newgrahamknives before.

Also cuttingedge.com specializes in used knives.

Reddit has some good to great deals on many brands including Spyderco Knife_Swap. Also - if you're into gambling - KnifeRaffle is great. I buy and sell on both regularly. And KnifeDeals is sort of like this thread - people post good deals as they are discovered.

I found the Wolfspyder at the Factory Outlet last month for $142.00. It’s the best deal in the place, regular price around $190.00.

I wanted a Hawkbill but serrated.

But that Rescue 3 model, wow, that's $44 each.

Unbelievable.

The Advocate is not the CQI but I wonder if it could be sent to Spyderco for an exchange?
