Pocket clip delete and fob adaptation. The rattle snake knot hangs perfectly on the edge. Quick deploy from the mouth of the pocket without being swallowed. Image[/url]

I am not very imaginative with my lanyards. Almost all are wall knots + lanyard knot at the end. :o

Where do you folks get your beads?

I have been buying cheapies from China which are not actually bad. $3-7 for cheap titanium and such.

I have no problem paying $20-30 for a Spyderco or other cool one, but I have no interest in paying $100-300 for some of the high end ones I have seen go for sale.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Ebay or etsy. I don't like spending more than $10-15 on just a bead.

Thanks. I saw one on another knife site for almost $300 used and laughed. No precious metal or stones. Nice looking, but a TAD pricy to say the least.

Personally, I've never had much luck with lanyards. It is almost always raining in SE Alaska, so they end up getting wet... which means a wet pocket, if that's where you carry your knife. Also, if you're doing anything related to fish, game, food, etc., they get smelly and dirty.

Maverick workshop (https://maverickworkshop.com/t/lanyard_beads) is one of my favorite for somewhat reasonably priced bead, not $10-$20 beads but not crazy either. I have quit a few of his and they are really high quality. These are nice too (https://www.ravenworkshop.com/store/c5/ ... Beads.html).

It's a gaucho interweave knot, tied over a mandrel and then tightened over a wooden lanyard bead. ;)
