Post by AllenETreat »

Any collectors out there?

Me - got a Blackjack Highland dirk rip-off model, a SOG mini Pentagon,Wenoka "stiletto"

dive knife & several lockback stilettoes

( Consorzio Coltellani, etc. )

Too bad CT's so **** restrictive as to the

carrying of these ( great in the collection though! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>)

Anyone else?

I heard nothing but excellent comments about Blackjack knives. Could you tell me a bit more about your Highland dirk? All I have is a Ti-Lite (not by spyderco, I know), which is sort of a stiletto I guess. That's all.

Um... I think the only one I've got is a CS Triple Action, but I'm hoping to buy a SOG Pentagon some day.

Daggers don't really do much for me. If I want great penetration I'd go for an icepick.

Jimmy_Dean -

As stated, it's a "rip-off" of Blackjack knives ( original company went out of business in the early 90's I think ) push
dagger. Double edged w/partial serrations.

I had BOTH Highland dirk I ( which I got from Atlanta Cutlery in 89' ) and II ( which
I got when A.G.Russell was seeling'em in 94')
The rip-off just brings back memories.

A search on Google "images" should turn up a few "hits".

Oh I see, I didn't get the subtlety of the expression rip-off. I do know that blackjack went out of business but I also know Ken Warner bout the company back and produces very fine knives at an affordable price. I particularly like the Blackjack warrior. You can learn more about them in the March issue of tactical knife. A good article by JVC. Anyway, I'll go check some pictures. I also have a triple-action, if you concider it a dagger. Neat little thing.

I have a Cold Steel Tai Pan... SOG Pentagon, and a Cold Steel Culloden. For those particular days when I'm feeling watched and followed they are a bit of comfort to have nearby.
