Looks like Roger stuck the Dodo in a scanner. That's how mine looked fresh off of the scanner bed.

We've not made any black bladed Dodos... What Thom said, I think it's scanner shadow unless someone has blackened it aftermarket.

I knew it was just a bad picture, but I was hopeing that someone from <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> would be mad that it was a "leaked" proto.

This is a crop of picture from the 2003 Dealer catalog, advertising custom engraving services by Spyderco.

I heard from Samo that this Dodo engraving was done for Eric Glesser. Cool, eh?
