Can the SpyderHawk BrowniePop?

#1

Post by thombrogan »

With the exception of my Dodo, none of my smaller ClipIts can BrowniePop (a way of quickly opening a knife developed by Robin Brown from www.folders-r-us.org ). Have any Spyderhawk owners here tried that method of deployment? If you have, what were your results?

Thanks in advance,

Thom

Actually, you have to write to bladesrus@comcast.net for the pop instructions. It's the rules.

yeah. i think. i'm pretty sure the 'brownie pop' is the way i've been opening knives since i was a boy. if you mean it can open with a swift flick of the wrist without touching the blade then yes, it can. easy.

There's no wrist action. It was developed as an alternative for folks with arthritis in their wrists. Still, if it wrist-flicks, it'll pop.

Thanks, guys!
