Mr Janich, you have said that the blade style of the Ronin and Yojimbo are the most effective. How does a blade like the old Kershaw Talon fare? It is very close in style, only with a slight hawkbill curve, not as extreme as a karambit. Thanks for your imput. Bob

Dear Blade5:

Slight hawkbills that have points close to the centerline of the knife are actually very good cutters. By not dropping the point too low, they also retain decent thrusting function. As such, I rate them a pretty good choice.
