Civie, and Matriarch comparison pictures?

#1

Post by ajnova »

Hello,

I was wondering if some could pictures of Matriarch and Civilian so I can judge the difference.

If possible it be GREAT in the photo to include if you have a Native, or Calypso Jr. or BM 520 so I can compare them to what I already own.

Is the Matriarch big enough for it's intended use? Does anyone actually carry a Civie or Matriarch every day? I personally am worried about carrying either one (concealed or not) due to the scary vague knife laws. Because "concealment of a deadly weapon is illegal" - you'd think it say what is considered deadly.... *rolls eyes*

Thanks!

I don't have a comparison pic but the Matriarch uses the same handle as the Endura or Spyderhawk. So, if you have either of these, you have a good idea how big the Matriarch is.

The Matriarch is just about the most intimidating 3 ounces you could ever carry.

Hi ajnova,

Above are pics of my matriarch, calypso, jr, and Mini Grip.

The Matriarch is not EDC for me. But it is my Every Travel Carry piece. I travel a little bit, and I always have it near me while on the road.

If I'm staying over night in a hotel, it is always clipped on me.

Hope the pics help.

Thanks jbake for the photos! Photos like that is exactly what I wanted! It's very helpful to be able to compare Matriarch, to models I already own.
