Spyderco straight razor?
Sal, reading in the forum, I think you said that you are a straight razor user? I was wondering if Spyderco has any ideas on the drawing board for a straight razor? With the advent of technology (Mach 3 Turbo ect.), the art form of straight shaving is seemingly becoming lost in time. There are a few companies that still produce straight razors, mostly in Europe. If any company could combine tradition with innovation, it would be Spyderco.

The Kiwi might make a pretty good little straight razor, in a pinch.

Dann, much as I love my Kiwis, I find them a tad small of handle for that particular use. The pointy tip does not help either. Dynarider is right, the PE C14 Rescue makes a much better choice for shaving. Imagine a PE Mariner, if I ever manage to score one, might work well to, though the handle weight may prove me wrong on that. And I agree with tantobandito, a real straight razor from <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>co, combining the best of old and new technology, would be neat!
