I bet! I'm an IT professional so I am pretty much always by a computer, and it still took me three tries to grab one, even despite having a stock-checking script. What REALLY kills you is the time it takes to fill out information at checkout. It really doesn't help that most vendors won't let you save your credit card on file with them unless you've already ordered something. Before I grabbed mine, I was going to ask for help from some trusted friends to help me grab one, but that also requires knowing someone trustworthy and that also doesn't have the same schedule as you.
Between setting up the stock checker script and auto fill details on 20 different vendors, this is by far the most work I have ever put into buying anything, let alone a knife. But everything kind of aligned with this release in terms of the model, steel and price. I can't really see myself investing this much effort on any other sprint release.
But yeah not to brag, but got my tracking number from SSK. :D. Birthday is on Friday too, so that would be cool if it showed up then. *crosses fingers*
