A question for you Delica lovers- are the handles of the Salt 2 the same as the Delica 4?

I'm liking the look of some of those aftermarket scales, but I only have a Salt 2...

No. I don't believe any of those would work. The Salt 2 is a linerless knife and the delica has liners.

Imma let you finish, but the Rockjumper is the greatest work knife ever made.

Serrated, of course. A bit bigger, but not too much, and a nicer handle for hard use. Especially if you're wearing gloves. I hope it shows up in a few exclusives/sprints with interesting steels.

(Can make a solid case for the Endela Wharncliffe too, for those who think the Delica is too small for getting dirty.)

Right now, there are lots of steel choices for Delica4 and companion Salt2 Lightweight Wharncliffe FRN folders:

• S30V: $98.00
• H1: $102.90
• 20CV: $109.95
• K390: $123.20
• LC200N: $124.25

My favorite and the only one I have and use is Salt2 LC200N Wharncliffe SpyderEdge Green FRN.

SO, since I am new, is the LC200N steel the best all around steel then the others listed above?

Also, why is the yellow handled Salt wharnecliffe knife have a different grind to it than all the other wharncliffe blades? It is a half grind meaning the top half of the blade is thicker than the other standard models.. ???

I never understood the spyderco addiction everyone had.....until now lol went to smokey mountain knife works in pigeon forge tenn and hit up the spyderco counter bought a delica warncliff in vg10 steel and i cought the spyderco bug lol! Just joined looking forward to accruing more spyderco knives probably gonna hit up the knife works on way outta town and get a salt in H1 steel just for the heck of it!
