Sliced up some food with my CE Resilience. Kiddos french toast was too much for the plastic knife they gave her.

Cut up a big cardboard box with the Rockjumper. Definitely my favorite box cutter.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Just yesterday I was helping some friends at a local "Farmers Market" here in lovely Blue Springs, MO. When they had a pallet of items which were bound by a set of straps and other cordage. It would have been quite a challenge with most any plain edged type blade.

However I had my old trusty 1998 era Spyderco Stainless RESCUE full SE model from the ATS-55 era (sheepsfoot SE blade) and I made really quick work of that little job. It really amazes me how great that some of those older full SE Spyderco models stack up against so many other types work blades. Needless to say some people there were amazed.

My five year old daughter was really proud of the tiny carrots she grew from seed. I used my
Manix to separate the stems from them before we cleaned and ate them
Just one more knife...

A little bit of trimming. These were growing so tall, and with all the rain we've had lately, the stems were too weak to hold some of them up and they were starting to hang into our walkway.

Cut some unruly ferns, then rinsed. Thinly sliced some really ripe tomatoes, then rinsed again. Broke down some cardboard for recycling, folded, and pocketed for tomorrow. Salts, gotta love 'em.

I’m betting if for some reason I forgot my Silky Pocketboy one day and had the Matriarch on me I’d be just fine 👊

oh man. try it someday. I made the mistake of thinking a SE Spyderco could be used that way and it's truly awful compared to an actual saw. Learned my lesson with a SE Endura 3 back when they were the current gen

used my new delica wave to dig out embedded spline and replace a screen panel on my patio damaged during the storm. the wave worked well to get in behind the spline and the saber ground blade gave me more confidence to use the knife for light prying. the delica also made cleaner work of trimming excess screen than the hooked blade that came with the spline tool.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.
