Missed this thread. I'll have to try for a 15V Millie 2, that's just too cool. The microjimbo is interesting too, we'll see how I feel when it hits the market.

Looking forward to what else there is to see!

Well done Mr. Blonde!

The three upcoming 15V folders you posted about (Military2/G-10, Manix2/FRCP, MicroJimbo/G-10) will all be Regular Production or Sprint Runs?

Thank you for the detailed photos.

It would indeed be great if the 15V Microjimbo is regular production. It'll give folks like me who live on the other side of the globe and have slow Internet connections a chance to use this steel.

Any idea why the asterisk on 15V, anyone.

Thanks, Wouter, for putting Spring in motion again.
Just a guess but those blades probably aren’t actually 15V. Since they’re still prototypes, they probably used a steel like S30V and just marked them with “15V*” to denote the steel that is intended for production.
Thanks, Nick. I was wondering something like that.

15V Millie 2 is pretty sweet, not going to lie. May be the closest I ever get to a K390 Millie 2.

Should still have time to buy the Crucarta first, though.

Never thought we'd see the day where BBB and Mike Janich's logos would be on the same blade - but here we are, and it is glorious.
The MJ logo looks like it's punching the BBB logo.

Or driving a rapier, a stick, or a slim jim into the mouth of the BBB bear... whatever it is, definitely cannot be unseen now!

😂

Thanks for the great report and photos!

That 15V Millie 2 is a must buy, exactly what I was waiting for (an interesting tool steel version without micarta). And possibly being regular production means I might actually be able to buy it :D

It certainly is! I like the color of the G10, too.

The Manix 2 LW in 15V looks really good, too.

Standard production is good news, I really understood that it was all golden models in sprint-runs and that's it :)

I asked again during the IWA Show, and that is what I heard there. Still, when the next Reveal drops, we'll know for sure ;).

The 15V trend continues with the Para 3 Lightweight! I love the Para 3 design, and I’m sure I’ll have extra room in my collection to add this one.

If you don’t like the Para 3 lightweight in CPM-15V, and you prefer a little more heft and that peel-ply handle texture, then perhaps this version in G-10 is for you.

The last of the CPM-15V Spyderco Production Samples I can share is the wonderful Lil’ Native. Personally, prefer the lockback version, but I realize market majority prefers the compression lock version. It’s all good, and I can still switch the clip on this lil’ big knife for left-handed carry 😉.

That is my understanding as well, the asterisk is used to indicate a different steel was used -instead of the final planned steel- for that particular sample,.
