There is a lot of love out there for this knife. It would sell, and I’d wager it would outsell many knives in Spyderco’s current lineup.

Ok, maybe not beyond shocked, but at the very least I have arrived at shocked. Was this a 40 piece run?! Who bought them all?! And how did I manage to get one?!

Clearly they need to make more. May I suggest khaki G-10 or Pakkawood?

Interesting how much more expensive this Lum was than the hap40 pakkawood endura... and I thought the endura was pricey.

Without knowing the differences in materials cost (blade steel thickness), machining, etc., it seems they would also would make some sort of payment to Bob Lum’s estate, right?

yeah, maybe a very small run? hard to believe they sold that many at that price. a lot of people said that weren't interested due to price, tanto blade, large size, scale color, steel type, etc. heck, even i passed and i have been buying a ton lately. :D looks like the PM2 Jade DLC is going to be a 30 second sell out if this was a 15 min one.

Dying to know the size of the run. I have been clamoring for the return of this model and missed it.

Had it in cart twice and it then claimed it was gone both times during check out. That is with a fully pre signed in account ready.

I am completely unwilling to support the flippers on the bay.

I was able to score one. Was going to get another but the boss would have ripped me a new one. They sure sold out fast! :eek: :) just got notification it's coming on Friday! :)

$220 For some hap40 and g10, to rich for my blood. I am scared to see what knives will cost in the next few years.
