Mine came today. I thought the Rock Salt was a big knife, but compared to the Forager, it's a petite little thing. :eek:
One question, though: Are the handle screws supposed to be proud? It seems like they'll make for hot spots in use compared to flush or sunken ones.

Yes they were discontinued, however that does not mean they were out of stock when they were. Spyderco uses Sierra to get rid of the last of stock, from time to time.00max00 wrote:AFAIK, the FORAGER was a discontinued product a while back. Where did they get so many from?
These are great knives, but what killed them was cost. I was in the Collector's Club at the time, and I shelled out over $300 for the largest of the series at the time.
