I use a combo of KPL drop into the bering area and also use a shaving brush loaded with Wilsons Ultima Lube on the knife action (as well as all my firearms). For rust and corrosion I wipe down everything with an ancient can of liquid Birchwood Casey Sheath. Has worked for me for decades.
