I couldn't resist using my Spy Bug Pin on a project. If the pics load up o.k. take a look. What do you think?

Very nice!
Did you just glue it onto the scale or did you remove some FRN first?

Thanks. First cut the post off of the pin. You may have to grind the post stub flat. Then the most important step after you measure the diameter of the pin is determining the center point for "Dremeling", or drilling. I then determined the diameter of the pin. I used a Dremel to cut away the FRN in the area of the circle. You could also use a drill on a drill press as lone as it was a flat-headed drill.
After I cut the FRN away, I test fit the pin making sure it was level. I then epoxyed it into place. You might find that you have too use a sharp edge to trim the FRN a bit because it can have fibers where you cut. Try not to use too much epoxy.
If you want to practice first get a cheap knife and find some small foreign coins or less valuable pins to practice on. As always, do at your own risk. The end results can be very nice. Post your pics when done. Next step, my edc Dodo? Have fun.
