I like it...also makes me want an ATR twice as badly lol. I've heard stories of the hood causing the knife to "Emerson Open" like the waved models, but for the life of me I can't make it happen (Not a deal breaker as I see no need for a self opening). Also, I prefer the newer style of compression lock Spyderco uses (The Detent is in a different place), and this thing won't flick open as a result, but on a knife this small that's also no real concern for me (And more of a novelty/fun touch on the larger models anyways). It really fills the hand for such a small knife...I still prefer my Techno, but it will see some use and I do still like it a lot. I wasn't this morning, but I swapped it into my pocket when I got home...and my BattleStation. The Ulize is a FANTASTIC knife, though a little on the large side. It's not illegal to carry here, but I prefer something along the size of the Domino/Manix/ParaMilitary2 in case I need to use it while in public, so I carry it mostly at home. I do like it though, and the narrowness makes it carry exceptionally. I carry my BattleStation more often as a result (The deep carry clip is also nicer), and it carries nicer than you'd think looking at it...both have exceptionally beautiful blades (Subjective I know, but I like them) and superb ergonomics.gbelleh wrote:Today, I'm carrying the Ulize (for the first time in a while) and enjoying it very much!
The Krein regrind is much much thinner behind the edge, cuts with no effort at all. As someone who would buy a second M4 Manix2 if I could find one, let me suggest that you don't want to turn your back on this Cruwear sprint, like a lot of people did on the M4 exclusive, much to their regret...
