I've been eyeing this one for a while and just couldn't decide, then Spyderco went ahead and released it in all black. Didn't seem like much of a choice after that. I'm liking it so far, it has only been a couple hours. The flipper function is pretty cool and seems naturally intuitive. Opening the blade using the spydie hole has proven a little difficult for me so I will stick to the flipper. It would be nice if the handle was a little larger but I'll get by.
This knife covers a bunch of "firsts" for me. It is my first flipper, titanium scale and Chris Reeve integral lock knife. The lock is also going to take a bit of getting used to as disengaging it isn't as easy as a regular liner lock. I find myself holding the lock in the locked position with my middle finger when I am trying to disengage the lock with my thumb. Practice practice practice.
Mandatory pic.

Wow, what a classy haul. I hope you got them for a steal as well. What Kiwi did you really have in the back of your mind?w3tnz wrote:I finally managed to get my mitts on a C75 kiwi, thanks to a lead from an edcf member, carbon fiber was not my first choice for inlay, but I won't complain :)
The seller also had a mint jigged bone micro dyad so I snatched that up too !

If I could choose any, a santafe red white blue, or MOP bug inlay :D I was thinking one of the more natural inlays, but the CF is growing on me.
I think what I paid for the kiwi was reasonable, less than I was willing to. It has a few scratches on bolsters, but the dyad was a bargain considering it's condition.

The first pic shows the USA, but it's hard to see cause God aimed the sun to spotlight it. :D
