Another story of Spyderco forum member generosity.
A very generous forum guy saw my thread about making scales for my new super blue Stretch and offered to give me a CF handle which had a damaged blade. It was just laying around he said. I replied "sure, I'd love it". :) I now have my SB blade in a carbon fiber handle. I've been thinking and thinking and I can't think of anything better in life than a Spyderco Stretch with a carbon fiber handle and super blue blade. :D :D :D Here are pictures.
I thank the generous individual as well as being grateful for a computer place where people are so eager to be generous and helpful. :D

Good stuff, congrats.
I'd "wake up" that CF scale if I were you. Spyderco CS recommends a generous wiping of WD40 but I use Ballistol (keeps it looking real nice). Or you can just use it for awhile and your hand oils should eventually stop it from looking tired. That's if you care of course. I mention this because peel ply CF tends to look awry lol.
I own a couple CF's and a SB, I was gonna switcheroo one like you but nah, CF and ZDP is just fine for me!

A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.

Kudos to all involved. This forum really gives me hope about my fellow humans.

Very nice!
I was thinking about doing the same a while back after someone else posted on their own "FrankenSpydie CF Stretch". But then I thought that I would just wait for the redesigned CF Stretch with deeper choil that was mentioned on the forums. If after the new CF version is released an older version becomes available for a great deal then I might do the same but right now I already have the Green FRN ZDP Stretch so I don`t really need another ZDP FRN lying around after doing the switch.
