But I want to go ahead and order a couple of deep carry clips. My question is, do the Caly and Sage have the same clip (don't have a sage)? And if one is longer... which one is it, and do I want the long one or the short one  :)
Those pictures show the Sage clip, and the Calys are the same. Don't get a shorty like a Dragonfly. You will want the clip to only contact the smooth logo, otherwise it will shred your pants.

I too, am glad that this is going to be a regular production knife.

I don't really follow the super steels that much.

But I will get one of these because of the price range.

It is too good of a deal to pass up.
My favorite Spyderco knives include: Caly 3.5, Chaparral, Delica 4 FFG, Stretch, Para-Military 2, Endura 4 FFG, Manix 2 & Manix 2 XL!

Thanks for the tip. I had considered trying a short one to see if it would be more comfortable in the palm when using the knife, but these wire clips aren't really very noticeable in the palm anyway.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod

This gives me an excuse to really put my black Manix2 LW to some more serious testing, as I'll have a new preferred Manix2 LW to carry for most things. I've mentioned the story of my FRN Native shrugging off a 275 foot fall on here a couple times...and I've been toying with the idea of a repeat (Except this time intentionally, and on video). I might just have to chuck my black Manix2 LW and newly acquired SE Dragonfly Salt off a tower to satisfy my own curiosity, and doubtlessly the amusement of anyone who watches the video lol. They'll be closed and most likely will hit either gravel or hayfield, but it should still be entertaining. If I can make it happen I will.

Thanks for the notice. I placed a pre-order with them.

I might try to swap some titanium scales onto one.

I feel compelled to rush, Im really looking forward to this one. It has "favorite Spydie" potential. Should fit right in with my Stretch, N5, etc.

Just a heads up. This is a great way to get new super steels into the hands of many.
Almost mule-like in nature. :D

Same here. Para2's are regular production, and they can be scarce at times.

Scored one of the five they had at Knifeworks today.

Right place, right time. Glad that's over and done with. ;)
