Another comparison since there seems to be some misinformation that the Domino is smaller than the Native:

I hope so! I wanna give it some character. My domino is shipping from Knife Center today. Should see it next week!

Mine came today. It's awesome. There is a lot of friction from the ball detent I think. Not sure why. Anyone else? I can see a line marked on the blade from the detent.

Similar with mine and with Southard. A tiny amount of grease resolved any issues. This one appears to have a tiny divot on blade for detent ball when fully closed.

Thanks. I don't have grease - what product are you using? I tried a couple lubes I have and they didn't help.

Hope detent friction doesn't ruin the smoothness of the action. Can anyone speak to the smoothness? Southard smooth? USPS is set to deliver tomorrow by 3pm.

It's not as smooth as the Gayle Bradley. I'm certainly not complaining though. It's a wonderful knife.

I guess grease may not be technically the correct description. I have a very old bottle of teflon bicycle lube that condensed over the years and looks like grease so I figure it's Teflon fortified grease, but would assume anything similar would help when placed right on the detent ball area. The higher viscosity helped more for this detent ball issue on my Southard than Blue Lube or some Nano Oil I bought (5W).

That's difficult
If you can swing it somehow, get both
But I think the Forum Native would be better to get since you can always save up for the Domino in the future.
