It should be interesting to see how the 2013 forum knife plays out. It has had an interesting start.

Anyone superstitious ?

That's my take. I had a Kershaw in S110V - weak HT that didn't really take advantage of the steel's potential, but the price was reasonable. I have a Strider that's a really fine S110V folder, but the cost was roughly 3x what this one will cost.

I am just getting back into spyderco knives. I haven't purchased one for several years but I own 5 of them. I just rediscovered this forum and I am excited that I am getting back into the hobby with a new forum knife coming out. I hope I am fortunate enough to purchase one. I will post more in the future as I learn more. God gave us 2 eyes and 2 ears and only one mouth for a reason. How long does it take for one to not be a newbie any more? LOL.

I'm right there with you, but I'm tempted to spend a little extra for the CF version. I would love to have both versions but realistically I'll be fortunate to get even one. I think i'd prefer the CF but I'm starting to like green for that amount of green :D

Welcome to the forum.
And do not rely on luck or fortune, put some efforts to get one, if this is important for you. This is all hard work, which you need to do to achieve the goal:
1. watch forum to see announcement for release day
2. Try to remember release day, if you cannot make a note
3. Place the order sooner is better.

Good luck.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

color and diamond pattern are awesome. Hmm, wasn't sure if I would get one. My problem with forum knives is I don't want to use them as I don't want to beat up the beautiful knife! Still, I really like this.
