Ha! Same thought passed through my head once I watched the video on youtube. I really like the darker wood grain. Still, $170 will deter the purchase for some time. Plus, I don't plan on EDC'ing a knife that pretty.Drkknight614 wrote:I have to say, before I wasnt too interested, but now that I see it has darker scales...I like it more. God **** lol. Sorry wallet.
Sage IV
Saw the vid.
Oh oh, it is a very pretty knife. EDC a knife like that  gosh, I'm sure to nick the wood and ding the titanium(Ti dings very easily).
What to do  200 bucks for a shelf queen. No, no Spydercos are for using.
I will use it! The last wood scale knife I used a lot was years ago, it held up well(didn't look beautiful).
Let's have it, bring it on. :D

Did not like this knife initially.
Saw these most recent pics.
Now it's on the 'must have' list.
It would be in Spyderco's best interest to change their pics to more accurately reflect the actual color & pattern of the knife.

I'm much like Jay_Ev, in that I didn't originally like it. I like it now. I did also look at some Al Mar knives and forgot that they have longer bolsters so this looks spot on. I hope my show of ignorance will help educate others. :)
I want one now. Nice pics Stony.
