Our Dear Doctor
It's been a while since I've gotten to chat with our resident Blade MD but my prayers will go out to him and his family immediately. Dealing with a lot of major pain myself here of late my heart certainly goes out to him.
The Good Doctor was one of the very first friends I made here at Spyderville and I do hope he makes a full recovery. JD

Seemed appropriate here as well -- and:SkullBouncer wrote:Prayers and Positive Waves Sent Your Way!
I believe I can relate to what you're going through surgery-wise -- just remember -- be optimistic no matter what to your maximum ability, for one thing -- it really does make a sizable difference in the short and long term.
I've had to undergo a 5 1/2 hour rather severe neurosurgery in my cervical spine back in 2008 through the Denver VA Medical Center -- and am undergoing the first of three series of multi-level, bi-lateral spinal injections the first week in June.
I was and still am in VERY good hands, and I honestly went into the whole ordeal with very little anxiety or apprehension.
Adjusted to recovery well and early on in my term in ICU, and after release, began almost a year of physical therapy.
I'm in pain but have grown to tolerate it, not worried at all about the intra-vertebral injections.
Keep Chin Up & Chest Out -- I wish you ALL the best as you get past this ordeal.
