color looks better in real life than the pics ive seen

f&f is as described :)

texture of the g10 isnt too rough -real similar to the g10 on my strider pt

super wicked sharp out of the box

pivot is smooth as butter

no problem with one hand operation

bolt action is kinda neat when you look inside when operating-looks solid as all heck

Glad you like!
Did you notice it's a little wider (handle & blade) than the Sage I & II? I like that.
Good to hear yours is smooth, I had a long "break in" period  on mine. Works fine now.

my 2 and 3 are the same thickness -blades and handle-
the 3 handle is longer than the 2 by 3/16ths at least
the 3 is smooth but the 2 is far smoother

I can't say a negative thing about it. It is a great knife!

Mine also appears to be a little bit bigger than the 1 & 2 - haven't measured them, maybe it is an optical illusion... Still working on breaking in the lock. Buttery smooth, but the lock is still grabbing a bit.

I love each of my Sages! They are all wonderful - and all so different from each other!

Great knife, I just find the scales looking a bit plastic, maybe it's the combination of the color and the texture. Anyway it's no toy, the action is smooth and the lock seems to be quite strong.

Fit and finish are the same as in Sage I & II: awesome. Just wondering what they are thinking for Sage IV... ;)

You did make me look! After all, what issues could there be with this wonderful knife? It's back in my right-front pocket after sitting out a week while I EDCed my new Manix 2. Unlike the Manix 2's aggressive jimping along the back, which I really like in the hand, the Sage 3's closed back is friendlier on the pocketed hand.

A note to the Canadians here. You might want to check S&R in the next week for the Sage 3. Awesome deal.
