My story isn't long.Me and the kids have had a ball working on the addition to the house.Just got a boat so as soon as the work is caught up we will be spending a lot of time on the water. Before I had kids I did not think it would bother me not to have any but after you have them you can not imagine your life with out them.

I've got one. Shawn is over in the Desert so that everyone here can enjoy spending Father's Day with their kids. He doesn't even get to call his kids today, had to work.

I have been divorced for over 13 years, my daughter is almost 16 now. Being divoreced puts alot of strain on our relationship, so I have had to forgo many things and many weekends with my daughter to keep civility with the family. The only thing I have really wanted my daughter to do is come to church with me. While that might seem small to most, it is very important to me. I want my daughter to see how much my life has changes with God as my focus. For fathers day my daughter made that commitment to come with me. Rico

Rico,
While I'm saddened to hear of your separation with you wife, I am glad to hear that you have a strong belief in God to help you through your struggles. I also am a believer in Christ, and try my best to make Him apart of my everyday life. (This can sometimes be difficlt at the college I attend, as they don't like to see Christianity spread around too much.)
Anyway, keep up the good work with your daughter. Right now you might not see a real difference or change, but it will pay off years from now.
Thanks for sharing this Rico.

Hi all
Evry year 2 of my oldest friends and I take our kids for a trip of somekind. Last year it was a hike in to the the biggest of our woods here in denmark. This year the group have 2 new babies so we are going to a hunting cabin in a nearby forest. The point of these trips is to let our children (7 at the moment!)become friends with each other and with nature, and to have BIG fun with dads!
THESE LITTLE BUGS WILL SLICE, DICE & MAKE YOU LOOK TWICE. VOX.

My Father's Day with my two guys was Saturday, June 8th. We raced my younger son Kevin's MOORE 24 sailboat POLTERGEIST and took first to finish in class. Great fun though an old guy like me hurts a lot the several days thereafter. Well worth it though. And we ensured the boat will take first in class for the Dana Point Yacht Club annual race series.

Thanks Sal. Last week the guys won the class. Take a look at Kevin's page.

Okay Sal, sorry this is of topic a little off topic, but Kevin (not a knife enthusiast, but I gave him a rescue) infiltrated the forum and lurked this thread. Whipped out his Moore 24 association roster and found MERRY THOUGHTS #126. Since he is very involved in the Moore 24 cult he wondered if she is flat deck or SC. I'm asking since I don't know if he will sign on here. Enjoy your boat.
