Mule Team Avails ??

#1

Post by Stevie Ray »

Am I understanding correctly that the initial mule team run is sold out? :(

I've been out of town a little over a week and am just seeing this. What about those of use that opted in very early in this process ... like me? Two or three times in fact.

Hi Steve,

two ways:

- if you are collector #038, you will receive your personal numbered main paice of the Mule series as usual

- or you order one online at SFO; they are still available - I checked it this minute

Hope you will have a nice Sunday :)

That's good news. Does anyone know whether subsequent members of the mule team with be treated as variations or as new models from a collector club perspective?

Steve, Kristi posted that collectors will receive their first Mule (the current one) through their regular dealer. The dealers will be requested, but obviously cannot be compelled since they will be billed full price, to honor the spirit of the program and charge collector's the same price which folks pay through SFO. If they are signed up for "all variants" they will then be sent letters giving them the option to opt in, or opt out of receiving all future Mules. If they elect to receive them, all except the first will be sent to them directly by SFO. Collectors can also purchase additional knives through SFO, and their numbered one is exempt from the "2 pieces to a household" limit currently in effect. All of the above represents my understanding of the current situation.
