I cut a piece of heavy plastic landscape edging with my Pac 2 today. It didn’t even wince!

I used my Caribbean to trim a few thorny vines on my berry bushes.
Just one more knife...

Sunflower seed package for garden. Opened a letter and broke down a box as well before that today. K390 Endella which continues to impress, and I continue to carry it.

Cut some strawberries, opened a few bags of grass clippings, cut off the bottom of a jug to make a funnel, opened a jug of motor oil, and cut duct tape and packaging tape in the process of helping a friend break into their house (and the subsequent minor repair) after locking their keys inside.

Today I used my Native5 to open the packaging my latest Spyderco came in. Lol! (Shaman 15V, oh yeah!) I did, however, use my Manix2 to cut open a bunch of bags of mulch a couple days ago. Definitely came in handy for that. 👍

The Endura PE K390 was used to make a new drive belt for a lathe today. The material is a rubberized canvas. It's 2" wide and about 3/16" thick. I made a total of three cuts with some scrap particle board backing it up. The knife started off very sharp and ended up rather dull. It was an unusual task, and I don't suspect any other steel would have fared better. It was a fun experiment, and it was a necessary experiment. When I make another belt, maybe I'll try out a serrated edge.

Try it with your SE K390 next time @RustyIron. I would be interested to see how that one handles it.

May your feet be warm and dry and your throat warm with whiskey. A knife in hand or in the sock band.

I'll give it a shot. There's one more belt that I need to replace... maybe in a week or two.
