i was pretty sold on getting a dlc military 2, but i think i'll be going with crucarta instead. i want to see what all the fuss is about.
If you don’t have corrosion issues where you live in Florida , I think you will be happy with a Crucarta of your choice . Dan
i got some light spotting on my cruwear ayoob while it was sitting in my closet, so i think it's safe to say i'll get a patina before long if i carry and use cruwear. i'm willing to try it and accept it on a model like this though.

Mantra 2
69CD19C7-7993-4AFB-8E08-3B24B30618C0.jpeg
It has brand new bearing washers because the pivot was over tightened by the factory and exacerbated by my meddling. Its original washers are deformed from the pressure of the bearing balls.

It’s been unpleasant for years, so I made new ones from a 0.005” shim.

Same, although I'm not able to see your pictures...

I haven't had to replace the bearings or washers yet but did pull them out and lube them about a month ago, the difference was night and day.
