My favorite is the forest green 204P Knifeworks exclusive. It came sharp enough to cut hanging toilet paper from the factory! I have a picture on this forum, somewhere, of the cutting.

My next favorite is the GITD model, because who doesn't like GITD?

The Salt 2 wharnie is also my favorite variant with Delica DNA. It's a handy and capable knife for use around the yard. It's easy to clean and easy to sharpen after use.

Hap40/Burnt orange FRN.
......

Helps that the grind on the Hap40 seems thinner than my other Delicas, too.

This would be my favorite PE choice too.
"Would'" cause I actually don´t have one, but deducing from my HAP 40 Endura, a Delica in that steel must be great with its thinner blade.
Also, I feel too that my HAP 40 Endura seems to have an a bit thinner grind than the other Enduras I tried.
And burnt orange is a nice and unique handle color anyway.

/ My overall favorite strictly as a tool is my ffg Salt 2 SE though.
Superlight, a bit more blade and edge and a bit thicker handle than the Delica with liners, in a folder SE to me is superior to PE anyway - overall just the best "performance to weight" ratio I can imagine.
The keyword though is "tool" here. Love it as just that, very practical and capable, but does not "connect" with me like other Spydies on a more irrational, "emotional" level.

Overall the Delica imo is still the best folder in its size range. Very evolved design, reasonably thin blade, a lot of actual handle space plus the ricasso as a perfect choke up area, great ergos... hard to beat for me (the Chap is even better in some aspects, but I consider it one "category" smaller than the Delica).
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Same as basically every model I have in such a scheme…crucarta…it just always feels “right”.

I do love the k390 variant, though…that’s the tool steel variant to go for if you don’t wanna wait around for a year until another cruwear individual pops up on the flea for double the original price…
Crucarta: Shaman (x2), Manix 2, Lil Native, Delica, GB2 & PM2
Notable: 52100 and Cruwear Millie. “15v-arta” Shaman. REC Manix. K-carta Endura, P4, Dragonfly and Delica.
Favorites: Shaman, Sage 5 lightweight, Sheeps Caribbean, Manix, Endela and all things Stretch

The KC exclusive with the Pakkawood scales is really nice, but as a user. This guy wins, also the best color scheme out there, in my opinion.

Don't have one. Little small for my preferences and the ergonomics don't work well for me.

My first Wharncliffe Delica (the burnt orange hap40 sprint) customized with Flytanium scales, and REK (razor edge knives) milled titanium clip.

It’s tough to pick one, so I’d say these two. Corrosion resistance isn’t a priority for me so they’re both easy to care for. The Super Blue/SUS410 cuts like a razor and sharpens easily. The K390 is easy to sharpen scary sharp plus it has more toughness and edge holding capabilities.

I really like the original saber ground zdp 189 delica with a unique blue frn handle. Before the brg zdp delicas came out. Unique color, and I like the saber grind.

Salt 2 PE, hands down.

My first Delica was the m390 BBS exclusive, and it’s still my second favorite.

Currently enjoying my Spydieweb S30V, but I really want a Crucarta version (missed out). Hope it comes again at some point.

Partly inspired by a recent thread about the Delica 4 in 2024, I'm curious what variant of the Delica is your favorite?
Delica 4 in K390. Working edge retention for days and days in such a slim package. One of the mainstays in my work knife rotation.

Well I was inspired by this thread and the Delica 4 in 2024 thread and just ordered this knife too. Can't wait to use it, it'll be my first LC200N and first SE blade. Got a great deal because it's been discontinued.

From a purely practical point of view I´d prefer FRN - but man, this is a great looking Delica and must feel so nice in hand!! (Steel my favorite PE steel anyway (given that HAP 40 and REX 45 is basically the same) :star-struck

Also particularily like that the clip is different, but NOT loop over deep carry!!

My favorite Delica is the Kahr Arms variant.
Beat me to it. And I don’t have one at the moment sadly.
