Illini over Michigan 97-68 shooting at end of game 56 percent . Shannon rested by Underwood after scoring 31 points . Great team effort after losing to MSU but Wolverines are ha I g another down year and game was at home . Balanced scoring and better defense . Really need to see this type of play on the road . Dan

Illini over Maryland in a slugfest 85-80 . First win at Maryland since 2011 . Game was as expected very physical with a lot of fouls , biggest lead in game was 7 points . Glad we got a much needed road win . Dan

UK got a hard fought win on Saturday in a hostile environment. Hard to win at Auburn way too many fouls called though that kept Auburn close. Good to see them fight off all the noise.

Illini plays Penn State on Wednesday and then Iowa at home on Saturday . We definitely need another road game win , we got beat there last year . We jumped from 14:to 12 in ratings , staring to feel like a yo yo ! Dan

We,got the floor storm last night too and totally deserved it . Interview with Underwood was not pretty but complimented Penn State for their jar fought win . We played like a one and done team . Dan

Illini over Iowa 95-85 in a game of many lead changes until we pulled away in 4th quarter and held on . Fewer turnovers and much better defense . Hawkins redeemed himself today with a record 30 point game . First half Underwood benched starting 5 to give them a wake up,call and it worked , second 5 kept them in game and when starters returned whole different attitude! We play them again at Iowa which will be last conference game . Dan
