As you suspected, it is one of the rare Ambidextrous Endura Waves.

Which Shotshow was it at?

This year, in the regular display case (not the special ones for prototypes and upcoming sprints)

This version was only made in late 90’s early 2000’s. I doubt they had one on display recently.

This was in the case at shot show 2024. I took a pic as a reminder to try and get one, not realizing its apparently very rare. You can see all the Magnacut salt knives so you can see its recent

That is an Endura 4 wave model. This thread is about the 3. The 3 is pre steel liners and screw together construction. I do have an Endura 4 wave as well and I love it! When you compare the weight and feel in the pocket of the 4 to the 3, 3 is IMHO a better self defense knife. Lighter weight, flatter profile, less complex construction. It’s too bad it never took off back then. I would have loved a Pac Salt Wave!

I wonder if an Endura 4 wave blade will fit in a pac salt handle

For the record the E4 blade fits the older Pac salt handle but the lock geometry is too different to work without making a new lockbar!
