Spyderco is known to re-up the quantities after a given amount of time, so those cart numbers are not always accurate, but if it hits sold out, obviously it was. I recall a few getting down to near 100, then going back up to a few hundred more.

At 1 hour after drop, there are 125 left in stock.

I picked one up at the SFO - very quick and easy, great customer service as always - and asked about how many were made, was told less than 2000 were available after QC.

I never saw any actual timeouts, but each "form submission" had about a 25 second wait before it launched the next part of the process. It pays to have gone through this on other drops to know what to expect and to -- above all -- Just be patient.

I just tried throwing 200 in my cart, but I didn't have $30,000 to cover the tab, so I didn't try checking out. It did let me put them in there, though.

After you do that hit ‘Update Quantities’ and it will adjust to the number in stock. 91 as of a few minutes ago.

I got mine on the way, along with sheaths. I checked and the leather sheaths seem to still be available so I’m not sure what happened with the people who had an issue. Maybe you can call and get it fixed though.

Managed to snag 2 of them. Took about half an hour. No hickups just slow loading times. That's all. Only 82 left at this moment.

I’m trying to order and getting an error “We could not verify your information or something in your information has been found to be associated with fraud. Please try again. If you are using a VPN, try turning it off to try again or contact us. (8002) .”

Any quick ideas before I just call?

Try from your phone with WiFi turned off. My best guess is something about your network is setting off one of their protections.

If you are on a computer, try checking out from your cell phone on data only, or vice versa. My computer will never let me check out, but my phone always works.

Got it figured out. Apparently there is a VPN blocker that was turned on somehow on my phone.

I'd curious but I kinda wish we could try this material in a different design. I'm thinking a 2" wharnie/ box cutter styled fixie.
That's almost what someone will have if they break the tip off, no? Maybe there is even a way to "flint knapp" a point back on? I'm going to try to try to have flexible expectations.

Take care -

I got one. Smooth transaction.

Maybe the expense is indeed keeping demand down? Plus the fact that it’s a large run.

Just a handful left. Looks like they'll be all gone in a few minutes... All sold in about 4.5 hours. All is a number less than 2000 after QC fallout.
