Well Paul I just found one on Atlantic Knife for $99 and free shipping so I couldn’t resist…got the OD green/black combo…between you, Vivi and others touting this knife just figured I couldn’t go wrong

My one and only Hinderer. I was so underwhelmed by the weak detent on it that I never considered getting a second one. The fact that they are crazy expensive when they reach my country also lessened my enthusiasm for them.

The Gen4 was hit or miss. Some really special, some disappointing. The Gen6 Triway are very consistent, but they also feel more like a production knife than a semi custom like some Gen4's could.
Still wish I hadn't let go of my first XM, a 20cv Sterile that was a perfect example, even on teflon. It's funny how the first knife you get from a maker can make or break it.

That's funny Dan, I was thinking the other day when you posted that knife in the "others in the mail" thread...that knife reminds me of a Smock. I'm glad you posted it along side one. Hope you enjoy your new knife!

That’s a great knife Dan, Harryo had the tan g10 version and I handled it a few times before he sold it along with a slew of others in order to get an Umnumzaan…he still talks about how much he misses it…a beast!!!
