Agreed…I had that exact knife, love the color combo, blade to handle ratio off the charts, slicin’ machine and a true featherweight…probably shouldn’t have worried so much about the omega springs breaking…I’ll replace it one day because every time I visit REI there it is in the knife display just calling my name

A Skinny build I did a few years ago that doesn't see enough carry. Stonewashed blade swap into Working Finish handle and textured micarta scale for a CRK look. Back when I could get 20% off RHK it was a very different world lol! I should grab this one more as it's probably the most slicey XM I have, but something about the beefy regular XM just begs to ride along. Still hoping DLT does a choiless Sheepsfoot as that would dethrone all other XM blade shapes IMO.

Another nice thing, they sent the case, microfiber cloth and the real surprise...replacement hardware and even bearings! I thought that was pretty cool and different.

I dread everyday leading up to Blade Show in Atlanta. I know I'm going to walk in that door, immediately turn left and see a bunch of Hinderers. Now my hope is to be strong, walk a little further and see some CRKs. Maybe just maybe, I'll be a little stronger and keep walking and see some Spartan Blades. That is another one if you have not seen them. I heard the owner took some pointers from CRK on manufacturing, but that could just be a myth
