can someone link the 2023 price guide? i can't seem to find it anywhere. i remember it being attached to the product guide, but i'm not seeing it now.

Spyderco has removed all price lists from past Product Guides and Reveals.
that would be why i can't seem to find one.

I had saved copies of price lists on my iPhone. I copied the last one from 2023 which was in October to DropBox. See if you can access it via the link below.

I swore off buying anymore Spydies when they introduced MAP pricing and after every price increase in between. It hasn’t worked out so well for me.

I swore off buying anymore Spydies when they introduced MAP pricing and after every price increase in between. It hasn’t worked out so well for me.

Spyderco MAP pricing started in JAN 2016 with 40% off MSRP, then 35% off MSRP in JAN 2018 and the current 30% off MSRP since JAN 2020.

I slowed down my purchases with MAP but also dealers started charging sales tax on top.

The real slowdown in purchasing started with the big jump in MSRP in JAN 2022 and more in JAN 2023. So, I buy only when I can get big discounts like in NOV 2022, JUL 2023 and NOV 2023. Basically, 4 in 2022 & 2 in 2023 with an average discount of about 47% off MSRP.

I’m way past needs and it’s just wants since I already have ~95 Spyderco knives.

Oh well. The question is by how much. Another wave of inflation is coming anyway.
I will get the SE Chaparral no matter what. And a liner lock Military for backup before it gets discontinued.

The one with digicam g10 + dlc blade. Knowing myself, I will probably end up getting some custom scales in a color that goes well with its black blade. I always liked blue jeans micarta..

I am thinking about this one as well. Trying to decide between the S110V and that one.

I would get the S110V if I needed the corrosion resistance and if I knew how to sharpen it. I mean it's not that hard with diamonds, but most other steels are easier.
And S30V is tougher and a good all-around steel.

I will look at the secondary market for a good deal also. So far I was lucky.

So, did anything get more expensive? And by how much? I didn´t check the prices for quite a while, and they don't seem wild to me now (Jan 2).

Anyone seen any Spyderco price changes at U.S. dealers?

I checked a few dealers for a few items and don’t see any price increases or decreases…

I've only seen the KC exclusive Endela go up from $199 to $217 on Jan. 1.

I'm still hoping the CruCarta Manix and SpyMyto will release at their 2023 prices.

Dealers set their own prices on their exclusives.
