Could be a high scoring game! Then again, you never know what to expect Week 1...but I know we're all excited for it! :party-face :party-face

It’s going to feel good to have football back!

I’m still debating if I want to buy a ticket for the Patriots home opener this year. It’s being called “The Tom Brady Game” because he is scheduled to make an appearance on game day. People have predicted things like retiring his number all the way to him signing a one day contract and taking the first snap of the game. Regardless of what they do, I would love to be there for it.

I’m still very tempted to! I’ve watching ticket prices and cost of entry is getting lower. I might wait until game day to buy a last minute ticket at a more digestible price. It’s supposed to rain on gameday, so there might be some people backing out last minute too. :grin-squint I’m probably just being hopeful.

Terrible news about ex bucs, bills receiver Mike Williams. While at work on a construction site, a steel beam fell and hit him on the head. He succumbed to the injury.
States that he made nearly 12 million in earnings in his 4 years in the N.F.L.
His dad had a go fund me page up to help get him to the hospital to see him.
It's very sad that players still squander all that money in such a short amount of time.
And, I'm certainly not passing judgment. It's just a very real part of why this happened to begin with.
And, to the Players Union's credit, the N.F.L., offers financial counselors & classes to rookies in the League.

Yea, that's a bummer for the area today. Went to school right here at SU and then the Bills as well. He had 900 yards and 11 tds as a rookie for the Bucs!

So one of us is going to be really happy at the end of this Sunday night matchup. Not trying to jinx it but Dak hasn’t lost to the Giants in years. Oh dang I probably jinxed it. Not his ankle, nooooo! Lmao

I think we're finally a much more evenly balanced team than we've been in a while, but Dallas still has the ability to put up a lot of points and the defense is strong. Should be a good one!! I'm not seeing a blowout!

Thats sad to hear. I read that he is reportedly on life support right now. Praying for a recovery!

Nick, I apologize man!
Everything I read yesterday stated that he succumbed to that injury. That he was on life support, then passed away
Evidently, that was false!
Man oh man.....the darn media!

No need for apologies. I read the same thing yesterday after you posted. Then I later saw follow up reports updating his condition.
