On paper the Jets have a loaded roster but I just can’t shake the feeling that they’re still the Jets and they’re going to screw it up somehow.

He’s good at getting TD’s from the 1 yd line. But he is definitely past his prime.

That turns into a pretty nice combo. Plus you don't want Mac throwing the ball 50 times a game. Not a bad move there
I agree. I really like the Pats signing Zeke
Anything to help take pressure off of Mac Jones
I'm very interested to see how your Mr. Jones will do this season. I still believe in him....

I sincerely hope the Patriots offensive line can give the kid some time.

I'm hoping Daniel Jones picks up where he left off. Darren Waller is having a great camp, we need a guy like that, and ANYBODY from the WR group to step up this year. I think the Giants can have a similar season to last year, hopefully even better...but I'm no dummy, there's no way they are winning the division over the Eagles!

Scary hit in the Patriots vs Packers Preseason game! Isaiah Bolden was hit making a tackle and went down unconscious. He was taken out on a stretcher and the game was ended early for player safety. Praying for the best possible outcome!🙏

Just saw something that was truly remarkable.
Roger Staubach at 81 years old, throw 40 yard dimes.....
He was at the stadium named after him before the 1st ever game to be played there.
81 years old and still throwing perfect 40 yard passes.

Roger Staubach was one of my very favorite QBs of all time. Him and receiver Drew Pearson pulled off a lot of phenomenal plays during their tenure with the Tom Landry led Dallas Cowboys. He was a true American and a really classy guy as well.

Well I might just have to eat some "crow" again. It appears that Chris Jones and Brett Veach are having some very productive contract talks in the past two days and according to the local news sources it looks like a new deal is about to get done after all. I am really surprised to hear this recent news because I was almost certain that Mr. Jones was going to bail out.

The Chiefs only kept two QBs in their 53 man roster>> Sir Patrick Mahomes and Blaine Gabbert. Although most all of the gamblers here in KC are picking the Detroit Lions to win the opening game next Thursday Night. Nah!! I think the Chiefs will win that one.

At least they kept two QB’s on their 53 man roster… the Patriots only kept one - Mac Jones! I fully expect them have a backup rostered on game days but who that will be is TBD at the moment. :spiral-eyes

I’m seeing Chiefs favored over the Lions by almost a touchdown at 6.5 points. I don’t know who’s picking the Lions to win that game but they must just like losing money or something because the Chiefs are going to mop the floor with them!

Yeah, that's an awfully low spread imo.
Figure it would be at least 10 points. I know its the N.F.L. but, still...
It's the freakin Lions.
Nick, are you saying the Pats only have 1 QB on their 53 man roster at this time?

LOL Yep! Only Mac Jones on the 53 man roster right now. :grin-squint

They have Bailey Zappe and Malik Cunningham on their practice squad and they just signed Matt Corral as well, so I’m sure they’ll have a backup on gamedays… at least I hope!

This might interest you. 2020 Alabama vs Ole Miss. The quarterbacks are Mac Jones and Matt Corral, both of the quarterbacks currently on the Patriots 53 man roster.
