Today i received some knives from Jurphaas estate. I am proud to be curator of these gems! Thanks to Martien van Rietschoten, Jur's twin brother. ❤

Yeah, those were weird little knives, weren't they?
That Dragonfly is simply beautiful. Someone did a masterful job on that knife.

It started out life as an ordinary Ladybug. Sal either reground it or had it reground (I suspect Roque actually did them) to remove the edge. It was intended for dealing with pickpockets, using it like a hatpin. Hurt like the dickens, but intended to be non-lethal. He gave them out as gifts at the Amsterdam meet.
I've made a couple of my own that I use a lot for other things. Not many professional pickpockets around here.
