yeah... the debate is between a salt 2 wharncliffe or a pe lc200n pacific salt. i want the salt 2 because i like it and it's going away, but the pac salt is bigger and i think bigger is better in this case.SaltyCaribbeanDfly wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:05 pmIt is an amazing slicer and if you’re on the fence about a Salt 2 wharnie I can tell you I carry one all the time in the summer

Definitely not the right shade of blue, seems like I need a new knife XD
Listen if the blue ain't you, then switch out those scales for a different hue!
I love the Endura, but lately have been gravitating to different scale material and customizing to my liking. I have a set of endura scales headed my way to get me back on the glorious Seki K390 train. You can always customize that Endela.

I can only vouch for the Pacific LC PE and the Salt 2 wharnie LC SE…the Pacific is a fantastic knife and a slicin’ fool plus it’s freakishly light for it’s size…the wharnie is usually my running/ hiking/every day kinda knife and it’s a dang good slicer too for SE…I use it to eat apples too …you really can’t go wrong with either one…I’d like to have the PE wharnie and the SE Pacific but my next Spyderco is gonna be either a Gayle Bradley 2 or a Kapara unless I can find a Brouwer at a reasonable priceladybug93 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:13 pmyeah... the debate is between a salt 2 wharncliffe or a pe lc200n pacific salt. i want the salt 2 because i like it and it's going away, but the pac salt is bigger and i think bigger is better in this case.SaltyCaribbeanDfly wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:05 pmIt is an amazing slicer and if you’re on the fence about a Salt 2 wharnie I can tell you I carry one all the time in the summer

we have similar tastes. i always carry my se h1 pac salt and the salt 2 wharncliffe would pair nicely, but a ffg pe pac salt would pair nicely too. i've always liked the kapara. the gb2 is on my list (although i'm not stoked about m4). i'd love to have a brouwer too. i found 7 of them in a b&m here recently, but my career change left me with scarce funding for knives at the time. when i went back to get one, they were all gone.SaltyCaribbeanDfly wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:51 pmI can only vouch for the Pacific LC PE and the Salt 2 wharnie LC SE…the Pacific is a fantastic knife and a slicin’ fool plus it’s freakishly light for it’s size…the wharnie is usually my running/ hiking/every day kinda knife and it’s a dang good slicer too for SE…I use it to eat apples too …you really can’t go wrong with either one…I’d like to have the PE wharnie and the SE Pacific but my next Spyderco is gonna be either a Gayle Bradley 2 or a Kapara unless I can find a Brouwer at a reasonable priceladybug93 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:13 pmyeah... the debate is between a salt 2 wharncliffe or a pe lc200n pacific salt. i want the salt 2 because i like it and it's going away, but the pac salt is bigger and i think bigger is better in this case.SaltyCaribbeanDfly wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:05 pmIt is an amazing slicer and if you’re on the fence about a Salt 2 wharnie I can tell you I carry one all the time in the summer

Hey, Great Minds Think Alike …I can’t tell you what to do LB but if it were me I’d get the wharnie cuz it’s gonna get harder to find andladybug93 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 7:04 pmwe have similar tastes. i always carry my se h1 pac salt and the salt 2 wharncliffe would pair nicely, but a ffg pe pac salt would pair nicely too. i've always liked the kapara. the gb2 is on my list (although i'm not stoked about m4). i'd love to have a brouwer too. i found 7 of them in a b&m here recently, but my career change left me with scarce funding for knives at the time. when i went back to get one, they were all gone.SaltyCaribbeanDfly wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:51 pmI can only vouch for the Pacific LC PE and the Salt 2 wharnie LC SE…the Pacific is a fantastic knife and a slicin’ fool plus it’s freakishly light for it’s size…the wharnie is usually my running/ hiking/every day kinda knife and it’s a dang good slicer too for SE…I use it to eat apples too …you really can’t go wrong with either one…I’d like to have the PE wharnie and the SE Pacific but my next Spyderco is gonna be either a Gayle Bradley 2 or a Kapara unless I can find a Brouwer at a reasonable priceladybug93 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:13 pmyeah... the debate is between a salt 2 wharncliffe or a pe lc200n pacific salt. i want the salt 2 because i like it and it's going away, but the pac salt is bigger and i think bigger is better in this case.SaltyCaribbeanDfly wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:05 pmIt is an amazing slicer and if you’re on the fence about a Salt 2 wharnie I can tell you I carry one all the time in the summer
with that comes higher prices, and I don’t think the Pacific is going anywhere
