I guess $165 isn't too bad considering the price of the S30V models. They're stiil going for more than I thought. I'll have to think about how badly I need one. I have trip planned for the end of the month. So I might pass on this one too

Kinda disappointed that this a re-release of the OG REK Lil' Native from January of 2021 (price was $155). I would have much rather seen a new knife release like a Native 5 or a Sage 5 or even a Delica

I'm disappointed olive green g10 is more or less exclusive to DLT and REC with limited exceptions in the spyderco lineup. No standard production models, right?

Olive green + PVD blade treatment (DLC, black, tan, etched, etc) is a great combo, but having to chase a sprint to get this is a bummer

Especially REC's which seem purposely under produced to ramp up demand and secondary market cache, compared to DLT's relatively healthy lot sizes and much better availability.

In spite I'd try for a rec N5 or PM2 or maybe a manix bit probably not the LN. Not sure who at rec thought that was in highest demand...

Well... kinda disappointed that it's the last batch of the LNs that they had released about 2 years ago, but the "Lil Nate" sticker should have been a dead giveaway.

Now kinda debating if I should get one as a backup to my original release REC LN, or to pass.

For those on the fence, this is one handsome-looking LN and is the best in my lil (pun) LN collection.

Easy pass for me, as I have trouble with compression locks in tiny handles.

Though I would look forward to a Native 5 or Lil Native backlock exclusive from DLT, as those indeed have better availability.

Well, I just saw your post and caught a strong impulse buy urge seeing that they were still available. SO, naturally I picked up one considering I sold my only Lil' Native a few months back and I really like the model in general for a small EDC. I'm not crazy about the steel and would have been much happier with Cruwear like the Knife Joker model I had and sold but I doubt it will make much difference for what I'll use this knife for (opening boxes, etc.) but it will limit how low I can take the edge angle.
