I voted Military 2. That or a Chief would be the most likely ones to grab my attention from the list.

All the current 15V folders are small knives, so doing another one in that size range wouldn't do anything for me.

Whatever the thinnest blade stock is would be my desire. Voted Para3, but like others, Native 5 would be just as good.

Aside from my Manix 2, if I were to get another knife in 15V, I would prefer more edge and a decently thin edge.

Military 2, Native Chief, and Manix XL are my top picks of this list for those reasons.
The all black Yojumbo is the perfect version of that knife, so I’m not at all interested in variations of it.

Thinking of upcoming models, I might prefer the LW Native Chief. There’s not a lot of brown FRN and it would be less money.

Another upcoming model would be the Canadian Pen Knife. I would be more interested in a 15V version of a longer knife than a UKPK.
I’m expecting that model to have pretty thin geometry too.
It’d be doubly interesting in a brown micarta or G10 and 15V combo. I think a more traditional vibe could be good for tool steel variations of the SlipIts. For example, Rex45 works great with the burnt orange G10 or “wood” handles.
(That would be nice to see on the SlipIts too)

The Siren and LW UKPK were/are already available in the kind of steels I think typically works best for them (Salt Series and other high performance stainless steels like BD1N, S90V, S110V, etc).
The Siren is, or was, a good knife. Hopefully a new version of the knife is created so the model can be blessed by serrations and MagnaCut like the UKPK has.

Not that a 15V Siren wouldn’t be really sweet.
It would be a very tempting knife.

Anyway, I do really like 15V so far.
The 15V model I’m most looking forward to is the one we know is coming in the form of a BBB design.

I think this is an excellent choice for 15V. I have a 15V Shaman and while it is a thing of such loveliness it pains me to use it, the blade is so thick I would like to try it in something longer, slicy-er, and altogher more Manix 2 XL-ier (which, let’s face it, is the greatest folding knife of all time 😜).

I will predict the Para 3 will be the next 15v knife, mainly because Shawn has mentioned that he really likes the Para 3. Anybody taking bets? 🙂

I’m not voting because I can’t think of anything I’d want to see in 15v except, maybe, a fixed blade.

More of a general comment - the magic of the 15V is the fine tuned HT. This most likely means that at least for now it is only available to the factory in Golden as having some, say Taichung knives made, it would mean either shipping the blades for HT to US, or invest a lot of effort to reproduce the HT at a given location. Both may cost more than economically feasible.

I voted for the UKPK. We already have a nice selection of steels available in the UKPK, but no tool steels yet. A 15V UKPK would be awesome!

Sad to see the Military not included in the poll. It would have been interesting to compare the numbers.

I really cant argue that. I love the military and native lines and the pm2 was my first ever spyderco so I have a soft spot for it, but the manix 2 really is tops. I need to get an xl but I want to hold off until it comes in something like s90v or 15v

You mean generally?

There are the "Reveals" - no time right now for further explanation, sorry, but have look HERE https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/catego ... uct-reveal
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Voted Native , would love to check out on this format since seems unlikely a black blade will be considered at this time .

Military2. Don’t even need two gray cells to rub for this decision.

I’d like to see a para 3 LW. It seems like a good platform for the steel and the FRN is comfortable.
