I've been after a Goddard LW for a while. And I've been asking for a sprint run of this knife.

I have a rule to not buy exclusive since shipping and import fees make them so expensive but if St Nick's ships to France, and the price is right... I might just have to get this one...
IIRC they ship globally - they certainly ship to Singapore 💳🔥🤦🏼‍♂️
I checked after my post and yes they do. 36 USD to get it to France. It should make it a 200 USD knife once import fees are covered. Still totally worth it in my eyes. :cheap-sunglasses
Wow - those are some substantial import fees!

Is this the first St Nick's Seki Spydie made with 4v?

I don't follow the SNK exclusives too closely, but thought the Delica used Hap40.

Nope. They’ve been running this combo for awhile now. Millie + Native + Manix families so far.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Maybe read my post more closely? I was asking about Seki 4 v products specifically.

I don’t think this one is for me, but I sure like the trend.

@Ramonade, St. Nicks is a pleasure to buy from. The shipping fee is noticeable, but similar to any other I’ve dealt with. Fast and no fuss.

Curious why not? I'm indecisive on this one, and could be pushed either direction by some wise council...

Yeaaa, I don't really see it either. Pretty boring, kind of blocky design. Definitely looks the part of being a discontinued design. Interesting choice by St Nick's. Hopefully sells well for them, love most of those exclusives they put out there.

I really like the design considering it came out in 1990...but I'm not sure it's enough to make me pull the trigger. I appreciate SNK resurrecting designs of the past, and am curious about the molds, since it's FRN...

I'm sure it will sell out quickly, I just don't know if I need it in the collection...and my hesitation probably speaks louder than I'm giving it credit for.

*The price is right, but I don't know if 4V really fits this design...I'd rather have the CF/S90V Siren, but that's a considerable price increase...I believe this design appeals mostly to nostalgia, and very well at that.

I picked up a Joker in this combo from them, so no not the first Seki in 4V. If you check the website they have a listing of all their exclusives they've had in the last few years.

Thanks, Bemo. That's right, the Joker. Will look at their website.

Military hung around for a little while — it certainly wasn’t one of those situations where you needed your information loaded and saved so you could complete purchase the second it went live.

Love the knife but the 4V is not for me. With luck someone else will do a run in another blade steel.

Great shot, Dan. Maybe I just need to try a Siren.

I think I'm gonna give this one a shot. I always liked the looks of it.

Same size closed as the Siren, but the rear of the handle is more efficient in terms of providing a grip area, so it'll be a close call. If I decide it's too small I'll just trade it for something else.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Like I wrote in my last post, the more efficient rear end of the handle means I should be good. The Siren does give me a full grip, but my pinky feels kind of like it wants to slip off the end of the grip area where the rear end curves to a point by the clip mount.

Big fan of linerless volcano grip FRN too since that's what I carry most days.

Why is 4V not for you? Because it isn't a stainless steel? I don't have any 4V and would love to know more about it.
