I'm just curious about one thing though. When they initially announced them, they said 725 available and they changed it to 600. Are they keeping 125 for another run in a couple of weeks?

I would assume they’re keeping some for their B&M stores and maybe a few for warranty issues?

I noticed that too. I always expected they might keep some for exchanges or something, or they may have just overestimated.

I hope this isn't the last Military 1 we see, but this is certainly the best Military to date with the 4V steel and blacked out liners. Still hoping for a new Cruwear version, whether it is Cru-carta or DLT's Purple/DLC or both!

Yep, guessing they put those 125 in their brick and mortar stores!

...lol...
those didn't last long.

I tried to get one, but it didn't work out for me... I am happy for those who did get one (maybe not the flippers though, hahaha, if there were any?).
Even called them up and found out they couldn't/wouldn't do over the phone transactions. Que sera, sera :-) in the end, it is, just a(nother) knife after all (-:

Just got out of a work meeting and they are sold out . . . so much for putting it on my calendar. Stinking work.

Does anyone have experience with how this stacks up to the Chief in terms of carry? I really enjoy carrying the Chief IWB (3 o’clock) in shorts on those hot Texas days.

Sorry but that's not really a valid excuse, stop being such a slave to your job ;)

It literally took 10 seconds to check out online, and there was a half hour window of opportunity. All you gotta do is say "I have an important call to make (or restroom break, whatever), be back in 5". If they have a problem with that, you should quit and find a better job. Just sayin.

Personally, the Chief carries extremely well. One of the best large folders to carry. It is thinner and has smooth curved stainless to slide your hands past. My only problem with the tip down configuration on the Military is if you carry other stuff in your pocket it is quite unpleasant to slide your hands past the jimping on the thumb ramp. Really my only small complaint about the Military.

Although similar in size, I find the Military to be a little more noticeable. That said, I’ve definitely carried one IWB (closer to 1 o’clock) in shorts on those hot Florida days. I genuinely like its tip down configuration as well despite typically preferring tip up.

not everyone can just step out of their work to buy a knife. that doesn't make you a slave to your job. it probably means you have an important job and healthy priorities. that said, i've definitely left an important meeting early while i was traveling for said meeting to buy a knife from the parking lot.

Didn't it involve some running through the parking lot too?

27 minutes and sold out. Honestly waaaaay longer than I expected them to last.
If it was the PM2 it wouldn’t have made it 7 minutes, let alone 27

yes. i only had one bar on my phone, so i wandered from the car holding my phone up in the air to try and get better service. then, even though my cc info was preloaded in the site, it asked me to confirm and i had to run back to the car to grab my wallet i had set down for some reason. it was also so bright out that i could barely see the screen on my phone. it was an ordeal. that was for the rec manix... only 800 were available and they were gone in 3 minutes, but i managed to snag one before the ig and fb warriors could get them all just for a picture or two before flipping them.
