I got one of the NGK ones, after failing earlier. They must be placing them out there one at a time, or maybe I got unlucky and they oversold. I guess we will see.

I think you and I were both in there together ordering. Haha! I put one in my cart and then went to checkout and it told me I couldn’t order. Refreshed the page, was able to add it again and the order went through
fine. So, we will see what happens; but it looks like they are just adding a few at a time. Still shows in stock.

Chances are it is not, their inventory system isn't very good. They only had 6. He's going to spend all day on Monday issuing refunds to a bunch of sad customers.

Not to muddy the thread, but the inventory is in a constant loop of 5. It drops and then "refills". Don't get your hopes up. Not happening

Yeah, I think it's hosed up. I was able to order at 3:50, received confirmation PDF. Checked maybe 15 minutes later and it showed OOS. Came to this thread to post that info, and saw that Nice marmot had ordered at 3:55. Went back to the the site just for grins, and it said "Last Items in Stock." Exited the site and then went back in, and it said "In Stock," and was about to let me order another one.

I'll assume I didn't get one, and if another one pops up, I'll try to grab it.

I also had an order go through @ NGK (and their website is still showing 'in stock' when I refresh it!), but who knows...

I actually got my first-ever spyderco knife from NGK almost 20 years ago... Haven't bought much of the new models lately, but it would be nice to land one of these, from them!

Definitely should be interesting, got through an in stock in cart with an order confirmation at 2:50EST, only to get an email that an item was on paid backorder and if I lookup the order that's what it's status shows. Seems like I'll be cancelling the order, I don't mind a backorder if I'm not charged up front for it, but for something like this that could be weeks, months, never....nah. It will be especially interesting to see if others get their order filled with later timestamps. Definitely seems like their inventory system had issues. Not really surprising most of these store systems are not able to handle a rush of orders.
