Heh, well, I didn’t appreciate the NKD post here. I still think it would make more sense to make a fresh NKD thread to show it off, rather than posting that in the middle of this thread.

I’ve been a member here for ~4 months. Let me know when I’ve “put in enough time” to be allowed my own opinions. 🙄

I mean, it's literally the thread about the knife itself!! I'm not following. No different than saying something like "please don't post what Spyderco you're carrying today in the "what Spyderco is in your pocket today" thread :thinking

How many “NKD” threads have you seen on this forum? “NKD” may be a common practice on Reddit and perhaps elsewhere. Have a look through the multitudes of threads going back through the years on this forum regarding a new knife announcement, and you will see that it is common practice for people to post pictures of their knives once they receive them, which are universally appreciated by those who are interested in the new release.
Ok. I didn’t see a separate 15V PM2 alert thread, or I would’ve subbed to that instead. That “😜” he posted with the pic rubbed me the wrong way, and I’ll not apologize for that.

Assistance in acquisition is what I was looking for, not random chitchat about it, (nor pics with easily misunderstood smilies). Regardless; I’ve had enough lectures from the “old timers” here for today. I’m a salty old vet and don’t particularly appreciate such things.

Anyway, I managed to snag a 15V PM2 out of pure dumb luck a couple hours ago, (already shipped), so I’ll go back to Reddit now. I’ll be back for the 15V Shaman alert thread. Have a good weekend!

Came in yesterday. Scratched the “itch” for a few hours before I moved on to the next. Seemed fairly easy to get, thanks to the alert thread here. For my use though, it probably cuts paper as well as any of the others…

Curiosity got the better of me. Watching the New Graham Knives drop today because they are a favorite dealer of mine. I was able to put one in the cart and procede to check out many times. Despite the way they dropped I hope some folks got a few chances at it.

I got one of the NGK ones, after failing earlier. They must be placing them out there one at a time, or maybe I got unlucky and they oversold. I guess we will see.

It's still popping up in stock! That's either a huge huge mess up or you're good to go. I've got a good feeling about it. :beaming-face

I got an order through at New Graham shortly after the listing first showed up. Here's to hoping a shipping notification isn't far behind.

It’s still show them in stock but this time I won’t try to buy it, probably they are oversold.

It is happening again.

Hmm, not quite the same without the Twin Peaks score. What a TV series. As brilliant as it is maddening (to me, at least).

How’s that for a thread digression. Worthy of the Alert thread!

New Graham Knives
Still you can put the knife in “cart” and checkout but I don’t think they have them. Probably they are oversold.

Obviously New Graham is having website issues. Some people are receiving over sold emails. The Alert Thread had 1k views in 4 hours. So that was a big mess. And it's still showing in stock. :spiral-eyes

That’s pretty funny. I bought one (along with the rest of the world seemingly) at 12:13 MST. Just expecting not to get it really.

It is strange how people cant differentiate the two threads. One is for conversation, one for alerts.

I feel sorry for them, they're good folks. I haven't gotten either a shipping or oversold email from them, but I trust them to get it sorted out. Sucks to have a website mistake on this hot of an item.

Best to not put in any more orders and add to their troubles.
