I just placed an order.... Hopefully they are legit?
I do some kind of research on every place I post. Ye Ole Cutlery shoppe is a legit knife dealer. I put the disclaimer because I just don't know if they are an authorized Spyderco dealer. I suspect they are.

Edit: Ooops... Welcome to the forum Ripto! :smlling-eyes
Edit x2: I suspected wrong. They are a legit knife dealer but do not receive their inventory from Spyderco directly.

My neighbors work for USPS...this time of year is always a nightmare, especially since the pandemic began...people forgot what it was like to actually work, or desire to work. USPS is struggling.

Huge shout out for Northern River Outdoors just outside Richmond, VA. If anyone is looking to buy from them, they did great for my Manix 2 15V order.

Thanks to this forum, I was notified they had stock and placed an order yesterday. I received my knife today, standard free shipping via UPS, 26 hours after the order was placed. I am only one state over, but at this time of year I was beyond impressed getting it so fast.

Knife action is great, grind is even and the blade is perfectly centered. Great job Spyderco and Shaun, I am looking forward to using this knife.

1. It came wrapped in a yellow towel... kind of odd, but ok. Is this a National Knives thing?
Beats heck out of bubble wrap that just goes into the landfill. I use them for all the usual chores. I think it's a creative way to reduce the amount of stuff I throw away. :clapping-hands

I placed an order with them as soon as the post went up here. Just got my shipping notification a few minutes ago. All appears fine.

National Knives always ships each of my knives wrapped in a new microfiber cloth. Great idea. Very usable around the house and farm as well. Excellent company.

The new 15V Manix 2 is an exceptional piece - shout out to the Golden crew for making such a flawless execution of mine.
Happy Holiday all!

Seriously, someone needs to let him know. I mean, who is this Sal guy anyway?

Apologies if quoting a post from another thread doesn’t work!

How much were these on the drop? $250 and $300 seems very high. How are folks buying 20-30 of these at a time? Is it just me or is it lame that folks take something sought after and exploit it for money because they have some sort in with a dealer? I wonder if some people who work at dealers game the system for personal gain?

I know it’s a very touchy subject, but what are your thoughts. There’s a Fella on eBay who has sold 15 or so at $300 and the Amazon guy at 250 that I know of

Just needed to say thank you to @Buddafucco. Got one earlier on the KNIFEWORKS drop, barely. Good luck to the rest of ya'll. And to any scalpers out there, I hope u repeatedly stubb your pinky toe.
How do these scalpers get their hands on 20-50 sprint run knives without having some sort of inside access to a dealer or something. It’s sad that people pay $250-$300 to get a collectible knife.

With that said, if something is so sought after, why not take pre paid orders from collectors (limit one) so they know how many to make?

It’s just frustrating to see people paying $300 on ebay , not just a single unit, but 20 or 30 sold for $130 knife. The scalpers win with this model.

Lest cut the scaplpers off at the knees, and take pre orders for these collector sprint runs so everyone that actually wants one has a chance to get it. The manufacturer knows how much materials to buy, and the dealers might start putting a limit of ONE to protect its collectors son they don’t lose out on sales

Two Manix 2 CPM 15V's came in the mail today. They're nice, just as expected. I forgot how elegant the heavyweight is in comparison to the lightweight. Don't get me wrong, I'll not be giving up my LW's any time soon.

I moved the clip over to the "correct" side on one of the knives, and that's the one I'll carry. I had to sit down and look at the edge under the scope, because it will only be factory fresh one time. An image is below.

All this knife play has put me behind schedule for making dinner. Gotta get downstairs now and put the 15V to work--hack up some tomatoes or something.

I hope the excitement from the REC Manix and this Sprint Run gives dealers the green light for more Manix 2s in the future. I’d sure like to hit on one because I’ve missed on both lol. I really enjoy my S30V one

Definitely very refreshing to see the G10 model getting back to back love. The frn movement wasn't for me and I started dabbling into CRK's. I'll always have love for the G10 Golden models. Particularly the Manix.
