VDC if it makes you feel any better, I had it in my basket at 1223 and was in the checkout process when it failed out and said "there was insufficient quantity available to complete the transaction". So it appears it was processing your sale and finally updated the in stock quantity to 0!

I hope that means you got it and I will keep searching..LOL (outside).... (inside)

i just tried to place an order with mdggifts about 15 times and kept getting rejected for some credit card issue (something on their site; not my card). i tried calling and there's just a voicemail with no business name in the recording. i tried and tried, but i'm not sure i trust them. now it looks like they're out. i hope they are legit for those of you that were able to check out.

I called Ye Olde Cutlery and Gift Shop and asked if they were authorized. He said they were not directly, but that they got them from an authorized dealer and they were direct from Spyderco. The guy on the phone was SUPER nice and spoke well! Looked my name up and said yep, I see you right here and they should go out today! He said me and about 10 other people placed orders just now :) Seems legit!
